Swords clash, everlasting love is promised, and a treacherous sleeping potion is swallowed in this sorrowful tale, considered the greatest love story of all time. Evoking the lyricism of Shakespeare’s sonnets, Romeo and Juliet embodies the brief joy of passion and ecstasy felt by these two young lovers before their heartrending fate.
